Slaves Of Our Own Tyranny

Everyone says when you are down, look up & move forward, yet others say when you falter, you can always find your way back, when we fall down we are supposed to dust ourselves & keep treading onward, but whatever our downfall may be, en route to it, we always are aware we are lurking towards danger & then when the damage is done, its followed by repent, regret, gripe & what not...But then we do, we do move forward but in this process why do external factors not realize that freedom is necessary to progress when traversing in a bruised body of a previous mistake, they make it tougher, to move on....& then when we do move on, the past keeps haunting us...& those who survive this test of time, external factors, and society in particular...WIN...but still the doubt does engulf us in our journey beyond the milestone passed....fear too..and its along this instance that hurts, tires, and sometimes maybe take its toll on any individual.

Perhaps the best quote for situations such as these would be the great Shakespeare's "The show must go on"...brings a sigh of relief for few, desperation for some, & inspiration for yet others. To where does this rat race lead to? where does this tedious journey end? & after that what do we indeed achieve? questions which would be better off unanswered....and sometimes it feels better to think that the human race was better off uncivilized....survival would be good enough....no need to be the fittest!!! but if personal experiences are to be trusted, remembering the feeling of winning over some quest of life previously helps in handling grimm situations better...well each one have their own way of consoling themselves :D & faith plays a major role too...holds our hands even when on the brink of breaking down...

Coming down to what is to be really expressed here, how wonderful it would be if everyone could follow their desires & yet make a living, rather than sacrificing one's self, earning plenty & not retaining happiness even after giving up what we have achieved...competition is good & healthy & better amongst like minded individuals, leading similar lives & other important things as common between them. But those who want to stand out and quietly follow ther path of desire, to achieve greatness perceived and appreciated only by one's self...Ahhh! that would be spiritual paradise for anyone.

So what is stopping this phenomenon from taking root? Is it the rule of inter-dependance, relationships, formalities, compulsions or an unknown chain making us salves of our own tyranny, we dreamt of flying like birds, carefree, burden-less, & embracing the entire sky, and we did fly, only to keep up with more routines. Our imaginations & wishes are enough to make us fly, our dreams would be a reality, paradise would be in our hands and beneath our feet, but we always manage to wake up to more of our own slavery.

We have our freedom no doubt, we lead better lives than olden times no doubt, but no one ever stops & see the chains binding our feet and hands, responsibilities, expectations to fulfill & what not...we are not against leading a co-existant life, responsibly, and with other duties at hand fulfilling them, but when we stop to glance back on our lives we still see things we did not do, whoever it may be, would have encountered this vision once or numerous times...was'nt this beautiful?

We can all set ourselves free in our own ways, it all matters where we start digging & how we reach out of our own prison, & embrace the paradise that we always admire from within concealed spaces, & when this is gained, a belief holds good that we can also carry on with our individual lives parallel to walking on the clouds of our desires, doing what we crave to do and never looking back on things undone but on the oppurtunities beholding us in the future, doing what we love, holding hands with the ones we love without fearing interruption, imagine...no compromise, no bonds, no routines, a day will surely come when the one above will give everyone this wonderful treasure, the treasure of true freedom...perhaps he already has...and we are yet to discover it...
